Holy wells and sacred baths are integral part of sacred sites all over the world. It is a well know fact to dowsers that water is at the very center of ancient sacred sites around the world. This water is always underground water, new water that has been drawn up through a crack or crevice in the earth.
In Sig Lonegren’s book ‘Labyrinths’ he talks about the connection between water, Labyrinths and sacred spaces.
Before he started working with Labyrinths, he was sure that certain places were chosen as Sacred Sites, because of existing energies present in the space.
However after dowsing spaces before the building of a labyrinth, and then returning sometime after, he started to realize that this may not be the case. This was confirmed to him by other dowsers, who shared similar experiences.
Labyrinths, when walked on a regular basis can draw primary underground water to them.
The earth is a living being. She interacts with human consciousness. Walking with intent on a ceremonial path draws the attention of the water.
These ancient magical single-path tools can assist us in many ways as we walk into the future.
What a beautiful picture, where is this?
