You do know, of course,
why you’re here - don’t you?
Because you couldn’t resist the challenge.
Nothing in all creation, not in any sphere of the Universe,
compares to being born into time and space
without any recollection of your past;
having to find your own way when lost,
your own courage when frightened,
and the infinite powers at your disposal when challenged;
left to the elements to rediscover your supremacy over them;
driven by your passions so that you might rise
above your humble, naked beginnings,
and ultimately see through the illusions that had trapped you.
To find yourself, once again, high upon the throne
of thy Kingdom come from whence it all began.
Either that, or you were dared.

If you have two guests visiting your home, do you pay one guest more attention than the other?

We have two energy systems at our disposal, Passion and Reason.

We need to consider both when we are reacting to situations or making decisions .

Looking at the situation and deciding does passion serve me here or should I be using reason.
Choosing passion, means going with the heart, the feeling. Being spontaneous, throwing out caution.
Choosing reason, means weighing up the odds, measuring, going with the mind, staying safe.

These two guests work the best together, in partnership.

The one creates the space for the other to flourish.

Which guest do you favor?

You can practice getting to know the feelings of Passion and Reason by using your balance labyrinth. While tracing the path to the center, hold your attention on moving both left and right hand at the same pace. See if you can bring your awareness to both hand equally and simultaneously, move slowly…………..

Once you have reached the centre, breath out, ground the feeling of knowing both equally, then take that feeling with you as you take your fingers on the journey out to start your day
