THE HEALING OF THE COLLECTIVE HEART
Having just spent two weeks in the U.K. participating in the ONE LIFE LIVE SHOW in London at the Olympia, it came as no surprise to us when we returned home to see the front cover of National Geographic February edition. A picture of a big red human heart, the title……..
‘HEALING THE HEART’.
We had left South Africa very aware of carrying the vulnerable African heart with us. Everyone was looking for Yolanda Yoba, (note the ‘Y’ in her name, a symbol of two paths merging) the tiny baby girl kidnapped from her mother, who happened to have a very personal connection to us, not only was her mother looking after our children and home when we were in Ireland with the Labyrinth but her grandmother has been part of our family for 17 years. On the day we arrived in England, Yolanda was miraculously found and we knew our journey was about hope and retrieval.
After sorting out our stock of Labyrinths, which seemed to cause huge energetic disruptions in the space we were staying, we went on a mission to find ley lines. Stone Henge was our first stop, which we visited in the pouring rain and then found ourselves in Glastonbury at a Healing Centre called ‘Shambhala’. But of course the Ley Line found us. With perfect synergy, Dianne found herself sleeping on the major Ley Line connecting Glastonbury to Cairo and before she knew it, gathered a long lost aspect of the Feminine Divine in the form of Isis, back into herself. Of course a journey to collect a child and heart must include the feminine. And then to complete the picture, we were accompanied up the Tor by a sweet gentle Englishman, oozing compassion and light.
We had carefully chosen and printed huge posters of the Reconciliation Labyrinth, with the permission of Clare Wilson, and the Karoo Labyrinth, which was built around a workshop with the retrieval of the child as an intent, to adorn our stand, before we left South Africa. So when the show started, we proudly set up and laid out the finger labyrinths to expose this heart to the world.
We were blown away with the response. Our stand was consistently surrounded by wonderful people from all over the world. Tears flowed freely, issues burst to the surface and some huge shifts took place for some, that was beyond our everyday understanding in the moment, but in the big picture fits perfectly. Our stock of labyrinths was sold out and the collective heart was beating so loudly around our stand, we almost flew to high. But as the Labyrinth is the holder of our space, universal balance held us in place and has delivered us home, enriched with a beautiful healthy African heart beating in our chests.
The threads that have woven themselves into this trip are sooo intricate, delicate and enormous that to put it all together in this space could not even start to paint the brilliance of the tapestry of this seemingly simple journey we made. The symbol of the Labyrinth is such an incredibly simple thing to use and play with, but boy oh boy, this tool can only be underestimated.
So, to the Scientists and doctors in National Geographic, who are trying so desperately to heal the human heart, we say……………. gaze beyond the physical, and stop looking with your minds. Feel your own heart beat and really listen to it for a while and then you will know the secret, of not only healing the physical heart , but more importantly, awakening this beautiful, strong, passionate collective heart that holds the planet.
